Bio:

Brittney has a recreation and higher education background focusing on community engagement, event coordination, student success, and program management. Before her position with SPEC Play, Brittney worked in collegiate athletics working with academically at-risk student athletes, and as the assistant tutorial coordinator. Her passion for play stems from early childhood, play in education, and observing the frustration her students had with the lack of free time for play in their schedules. She is a play advocate and encourages all to slow down. When she is not organizing, you will find her listening to music, reading a good book, watching a movie, and enjoying being outdoors.
