PIN by mmcité is a modular shelter system that brings thoughtful design to any space—this PIN is the first in California located at the CAIS Chinese American International School in San Francisco. The frosted safety glass roof filters just the right amount of light, offering shade without feeling closed in.

With square and circular roof options, it can take on almost any shape—perfect for walkways, bike shelters, and shade at the playground. The grid of beams, inspired by tree canopies, doubles as a home for integrated LED lighting and hidden drainage.

Optional add-ons? Photovoltaic or green roofs, windscreens and LED lighting.

Built from powder-coated steel and designed to adapt, it’s a quiet blend of function and form.
