King School Park

King School Park was originally built in 1974 and is a well-loved and frequented park. It is used jointly by the City and Berkeley USD. A couple of years back, a large tree branch fell and crushed the playground. Bill Harris, of Harris Design (Berkeley), designed the new play areas and planting areas and used the Berliner DNA Tower as the Central Play Element for the 5-12 age group.
