Middlefield Junction

At Middlefield Junction, a once-industrial site has been transformed into a welcoming affordable housing community, bringing together surrounding neighborhoods, a health center, childcare, and transit into one cohesive place to live. Landscape Architect Fletcher Studio shaped the outdoor experience, creating spaces that support daily life through shared outdoor amenities, while BAR Architects designed the housing.

We’re excited to have brought Berliner rope play and mmcité site furnishings to this project, adding opportunities to play, recharge, and connect.

Developed in collaboration with Mercy Housing California with dedicated supportive housing, Middlefield Junction reflects what’s possible through strong partnership and people-first design.
