Pier 97 - New York

SPEC has been working alongside award-winning urban design and landscape architecture firm, !melk, on the $38M Pier 97 Hudson River Park renovation.
Pier 97 was constructed between 1921 and 1934 where it was used as a docking pier. Over the years this pier was restored by Hudson River Park Trust and became a place of entertainment.
Once again Pier 97 is being renovated and designed to become a memorable place for people of all ages and abilities.
!melk’s design will allow for Pier 97 to be a multi-use activity center that will include an extraordinary Berliner Seilfabrik Triitopia destination playground, dining areas, and carefully constructed routes offering a variety of views.
