Turk + Hyde Mini Park
The Tenderloin neighborhood has the least amount of open space with the most amount of children per capita in San Francisco. Turk and Hyde Mini Park is a fun urban Berliner playground surrounded by murals of butterflies and flowers in the heart of the tenderloin in San Francisco. Since SPEC reimagined this site and installed this exciting playground in 2020, it has become a safe and clean place for children to play in one of the densest parts of the city.
