Utica Park- Angels Camp

Utica Park officially opened on May 31st 2025 in Angels Camp! SPEC is proud to have designed this accessible playground, featuring play equipment we provided from our partners: musical instruments by Percussion Play, a climbing structure and slide from Berliner, a 2-5 playground by Burke, a Frog mascot from ID Sculpture, and stepping logs from WholeTrees. We’re thrilled to have brought these dynamic play elements into a cohesive space that offers children of all abilities a chance to experience risk, failure, and mastery through play.

These exciting park renovations were made possible by a $3 million Rural Recreation and Tourism Grant. The City of Angels was awarded this grant in late 2022 to fund the Utica Park Lightner Mine Expansion and Rehabilitation Project, giving the community more ways to play, explore, and have fun.
